Key objectives

  • Overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of CAPEX projects
  • Development of best engineering practices like TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), KAIZEN
  • To ensure compliance with technical requirements in terms of plant and equipment
  • To ensure compliance  with corporate and government health and safety requirements

  Job Duties  

  • Develop CAPEX projects according to the need of market requirements
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Analyze technology, resources needs, cost evaluation, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects
  • Coordinate and direct CAPEX projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities
  • Constantly monitor, report on progress of the CAPEX projects and assessment of results
  • Establish company technical vision and leading aspects of technical development according to growth objective of the company
  • To comply technical requirements in terms of plant and equipment
  • Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
  • Develop and implement TPM, Kaizen maintenance system in the organization
  • Build a go getting result orientated, manage and develope technical team at middle and junior levels
  • To establish and implement H&S system according to corporate standard and government requirements
  • Implement and manage CAPEX projects changes and interventions to achieve outputs

Qualification and competencies requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Design or related field is an advantage
  • At least 7 years experience in engineering and CAPEX projects implementation, including      3 years in managerial capacity
  • Effective verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills
  • Skilled in various applications to include: MS Office, MS Project, PowerPoint, e-mail     
  • Team player orientation.  Also, has ability to  lead a team with a focus on optimizing resources and results
  • Demonstrated ability to finish multiple projects on time and scale.
  • Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects.
  • Effective decision-making ability, able to strategically explore options and alternatives
  • Motivated individual with proven initiative
  • Liaison with suppliers as required
  • Fluency in Written and Spoken English is a must, Russian and Kazakh is an advantage

Work conditions

  • Travel may be required
  • Working conditions are normal for partly office and partly shop floor environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
